At Tiny Stays, we offer more than just accommodation — we create unique off-grid experiences that invite you to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with what really matters. Our solar-powered tiny houses are nestled in some of Victoria’s most scenic and secluded locations. Each one is designed to blend comfort with simplicity, giving you all the essentials of a well-designed home — and none of the distractions. Think misty mornings, open skies, and everything you need for a peaceful stay: a comfy queen bed, full kitchen, hot shower, composting toilet, BBQ, firepit (weather dependant) and a stash of books and board games for old-school unwinding.
Our Story
Tiny Stays was born from a simple but powerful idea: help people take a break from the noise of everyday life and experience nature in comfort.
Founders and siblings Ben and Aimee both walked away from the conventional path in search of something more meaningful. Aimee traded a high-stress lifestyle—and a successful plumbing career—for van life and the open road, discovering the freedom that comes with living simply. Ben left the corporate world behind to spend four years traveling across 80+ countries with nothing but a backpack and a camera. Both returned to Australia with a shared vision: to build beautiful, off-grid tiny houses that inspire others to live more freely, more simply, and more intentionally.
They handcrafted their first tiny house from the ground up and placed it among nature—laying the foundation for Tiny Stays. What began as a passion project has grown into a collection of unique stays across Victoria, each designed to help guests slow down, switch off, and soak up the beauty of their surroundings.
That same spirit of adventure and creativity lives on through the whole team. Alex keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, from guest communications to logistics, ensuring every stay is as seamless as it is memorable. Their dad Pete, affectionately known as The Apprentice, is always on-site helping bring each build to life with tools, experience, and a steady stream of dad jokes.
